Some information forwarded to me about taxes, salary etc.

I have been passing along questions about the differences between the amount of the take home salary between parishes. Deacon Hoy told me it would come down to one or two different causes. The most likely would be if one has opted out of the Social Security system, he would not be paying into that fund, part of our Governments benefits for retired people. If you pay into the system for about 4 years you can recieve benefits from the U.S. Government when you retire, even if you leave the country. He sent me this email and a memo.
